How much money do I need to retire comfortably?

Each case is unique depending on several factors including the distribution between tax-deferred (401(k)/IRA) and non-tax deferred (brokerage) assets, real estate holdings and other sources of income.

Why can’t I just create a financial plan and handle the investment management myself?

Many people with knowledge and experience will procrastinate when it’s time to make a decision. Decisions that are not made in a timely fashion can get very expensive. History shows these decisions will often take a backseat to the day-to-day responsibilities of jobs and family. Before you decide to take on investment management alone, ask yourself:

  • Do I want to?
  • Do I have the time?
  • Do I have the emotional wherewithal?

What is the CFA® designation?

The CFA® designation is appointed by the Chartered Financial Analysts Institute upon completion of a series of exams designed to test the knowledge and ethics of investment management professionals.
